Howard Sandcliffe Investments has recently completed the interview and consultation process with Fast Track in association with The Sunday Times. HSi is a partnership between The Howard Group of Cambridge and Sandcliffe Investments. The relationship was established in 2006 and has access to over £40m of investment capital The Group specialises in acquiring medium-sized, profitable and established businesses in the building sector. Typically, acquiring companies which are valued at between £5m and £10m and have the vision to expand.
Whilst The Group just missed out on the short list this time around, Eva Gronbech, head of research at Fast Track said, ‘The calibre of companies we visited was very high, and all had shown consistent performance in a difficult economic climate.We were very impressed with, and will continue to monitor, HSi’s business growth’.
Since 2006, HSi has acquired A T Jones of Fareham, Advanced Interiors, Wokingham, Adex Interiors, Hemel Hempstead and Fenland Roofing in Cambridge. Over this period, the businesses have grown considerably and are considered leaders in their respective fields.
